(FOX 5/KUSI) — A man died after being severely burned in an encampment fire in San Diego on Friday night.
San Diego Police said that officers and firefighters responded to an encampment fire around 10:23 p.m. in the area of Logan Avenue and South 45th Street, in the Southcrest neighborhood.

The crews that arrived found a large fire on a sidewalk and a man with severe burns. The fire was extinguished and the man was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
