SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A woman was shot Friday night in Spring Valley when a fight erupted at a large house party, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office (SDSO).
Deputies from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of a shooting at a large house party on Challenge Boulevard in Spring Valley around midnight. When law enforcement arrived, they reportedly found a woman with a gunshot wound to her ankle.
The victim said she had attended the party and saw a fight break out in the middle of the street, which involved other attendees of the house party, according to law enforcement. The fight escalated into gunfire.
