SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Fire crews are battling a brush fire coined the Rainbow 3 Fire that sparked near the San Diego communities of Rainbow and Fallbrook, prompting evacuations Wednesday morning.
The blaze was reported to Cal Fire around 10 a.m. with a moderate rate of spread. Around that time, Captain John Choi with the North County Fire Protection District confirmed that the fire was between 3 and 5 acres with high potential to damage nearby structures.
