Mountain lion spotted at Mission Trails Regional Park

SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — Mission Trails Regional Park and the City of San Diego are looking into a report of a possible mountain lion encounter near Suycott Valley Trail in the North Fortuna area.

The encounter was reported around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, according to the agencies’ social media posts.

The City of San Diego reminds the public to be aware of their surroundings. When wearing headphones, they recommend that the volume be low so you can hear what is around you.
