CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A broken gas line prompted emergency crews to respond to a Chula Vista neighborhood Wednesday morning, leading some residents to evacuate while others sheltered in place.
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the incident was first reported around 10:08 a.m. in the 1000 block of Pacific Hill Street.
Firefighters arrived to find a damaged natural gas line that San Diego Gas & Electric crews confirmed was broken and actively leaking.
