A San Diego teen suffered severe injuries after cameras captured him cliff jumping near San Diego.
The 17-year-old was seen leaping off Sunset Cliffs Sunday afternoon. Footage shown by NBC 7 San Diego shows him hitting the side of rocks as he fell into the water.
Emergency responsders were called to the water around 4:27 p.m., according to authorities.

A large crowd gathered after the boy made contact with the cliff face and as responders rushed to rescue him.
