$1.5M Powerball ticket sold in Escondido remains unclaimed

ESCONDIDO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Someone in San Diego County could be sitting on a Powerball ticket worth more than $1.5 million — but time is running out to claim the prize.

On Wednesday, the California Lottery reminded players to check their tickets as the Powerball jackpot climbs to an estimated $1 billion for Wednesday night’s drawing.

Unclaimed prize

Meanwhile, a $1,532,761 Powerball prize from the Feb. 21 drawing remains unclaimed. The ticket was old at Varso Gas in Escondido, located near Escondido Boulevard and Brotherton Road.
