SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A beloved restaurant in San Diego’s University Heights neighborhood announced it will be retiring its name and business after more than a decade in the community.
Madison on Park, which described itself as a “stylish Mediterranean restaurant” and offered people an elegant dining experience that included creative cocktails and live jazz, said it will be closing on Sept. 6.
The announcement was made on social media and stated, “the beauty queen is hanging up her heels, passing the sash and retiring from the runway.”…
