Suspect allegedly stabs ex-girlfriend 15 times at San Diego trolley station

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend 15 times at a trolley station in Mission Valley early Sunday evening before barricading himself inside his aunt’s apartment, according to police.

The San Diego Police Department said 35-year-old Dedrick Russell allegedly stabbed his 41-year-old ex-girlfriend in the face, chest, wrist and leg at the Fenton Parkway Station. Russell allegedly also threatened the victim’s friend with a knife.

After the stabbing, police say Russell fled into his aunt’s apartment, barricading himself inside until SWAT arrived…
