VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office (SDSO) announced on Thursday that a 62-year-old man was arrested for his alleged connection with a violent carjacking that happened in early April in Vista.
During the carjacking, the suspect, who has been identified as Vance Smith, allegedly ran over one of the victims, leaving him with major injuries.
