SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two people were in a hang gliding accident in Torrey Pines Sunday afternoon, prompting a rescue, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD).
Crews were dispatched to the Torrey Pines Glider Port around 2:35 p.m., SDFD said. Before the fire crew arrived, lifeguards assisted the two men, an instructor and a student, who needed help.
