Public’s help wanted in identifying National City burn victim

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who died from burn injuries in National City in February, according to the County of San Diego.

Early in the morning on Feb. 21, firefighters responded to reports of flames coming from a dumpster enclosure at The Galleria shopping center on E Plaza Boulevard in National City.

After crews extinguished the flames, they discovered a man’s dead body inside the enclosure.
