Several animals among 700+ rescued from Villa Chardonnay reunited with previous owners

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Several animals among the hundreds rescued from the Villa Chardonnay sanctuary in Julian have been returned to their previous owners, the San Diego Humane Society said in a news release Sunday.

Since the rescue operation began on May 1, more than 700 animals have been located on the property and are being cared for by the San Diego Humane Society.
