The Heritage Steakhouse is set to open in late July 2026 in Santee, introducing a new fine dining destination to East San Diego County. Designed as a classic American steakhouse with a New York-style influence, The Heritage Steakhouse aims to bring a refined culinary experience to the region, positioning itself as a destination for special occasions, business dinners, and elevated everyday dining.
The opening of The Heritage Steakhouse within the newly completed Legacy Building at Lantern Crest Resort Community reflects a growing demand for upscale dining options in East County, an area that has historically had fewer high-end restaurant concepts compared to other parts of San Diego County. The restaurant is envisioned as a regional draw, offering a combination of traditional steakhouse elements and contemporary design and service standards.
