What started as a smash-and-grab at a Burlingame yoga and fitness shop ended with multiple arrests and a trail of pricey workout gear, according to police.
Today, Burlingame police released photos after a group of thieves crashed into a yoga and fitness store on the 1300 block of Burlingame Avenue and fled with roughly $10,000 in high-end athletic apparel. Officers say the crew took off in a black Range Rover that was later seen entering San Mateo on California Avenue, where several people bailed from the vehicle and ran off in different directions. Patrol units and San Mateo officers ultimately arrested multiple suspects and recovered stolen property, and the Burlingame Police Department says the investigation is still active.

The department’s Facebook post includes clear images of several suspected thieves and the black Range Rover that officers believe served as the getaway vehicle. According to the Burlingame Police Department, patrol units recovered stolen merchandise and identified suspects with ties to the San Leandro and Hayward areas.
