Jason White’s “take things as they come” approach to moving to a new town might give Type A folks palpitations, but sometimes leaving space for life’s unplannable events can lead to incredible circumstances. It certainly did in his case.

White has been a touring guitarist with Green Day for over 25 years. Unlike official band members Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, White is in a unusual position where he gets to enjoy many perks of rock stardom while avoiding some of its trappings. He can travel the world playing in enormous arenas but is then able to return home and enjoy a semblance of privacy…
