SF navigation center workers accused of harboring gunman

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two employees of San Francisco’s Bayshore Navigation Center face the possibility of prison after being charged with trying to help a fugitive evade arrest.

It was on May 31 that San Francisco Police Department officer Brittney Taylor was shot while trying to apprehend a robbery suspect. She has since been released from the hospital and is still recovering. Police allege Norris Reed III was the shooter.

Reed was eventually tracked to the Bayshore Navigation Center where he was arrested. But after a review of surveillance video, San Francisco police allege two center employees tried to help him evade arrest…
