(KRON) — A Walnut Creek man who went on a vandalism spree on the San Francisco Peninsula, causing more than $80,000 in damage within hours, pleaded no contest to two counts of felony vandalism on Monday, according to prosecutors.
Enkhbilig Tengis, 29, was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail and was placed on two years of supervised probation. A third felony vandalism charge was dismissed as part of the negotiated plea.
On Aug. 24, 2025, around 3 a.m., Tengis drove to a Valero Gas Station in Daly City and smashed out a window of the business with a hatchet, the DA’s office said. The incident caused $800 in damage.
