(KRON) — A hazmat situation in the inner Richmond district in San Francisco has been resolved by San Francisco Fire officials.
Fire officials responded to the Safeway on 7th Street just before 9:30 p.m. Friday. Crews evacuated the store after an unknown substance was released inside the store making multiple people cough, officials reported. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of symptoms from the pepper spray.
The substance turned out to be pepper spray, police confirmed. Officers said they also found a bag of meth in the store…
