Man serving 225 years for child molestation denied parole

(KRON) — A South San Francisco man who was sentenced to 225 years to life in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s young daughter had his first parole hearing on Thursday. The Board of Parole Hearings panel denied his release, finding that he “remains an unreasonable risk of danger to public safety,” according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.

Thomas Lee Frazier, now 65 years old, was 41 at the start of his life crimes. California’s elderly parole hearings law enables convicted individuals over the age of 50 who have served 20 years of their sentence to be considered for parole.

The initial parole hearing was conducted at Valley State Prison in Chowchilla, Calif. The victim registered for the hearing, prosecutors said, but did not participate.
