The National Weather Service has expanded a heat advisory across most of the Bay Area, with the weekend’s toasty temperatures expected to increase slightly Sunday.
Hot conditions with maximum temperatures in the mid-90s to low 100s could continue through the middle of next week in the East Bay, San Jose and Wine Country, where the weather service implemented a heat advisory until 10 p.m. Wednesday.
