Sean Sidi, 19, vanished in California on May 21, 2013, after telling his father he was taking a bus

In the heart of San Francisco, a baffling case continues to perplex authorities and loved ones alike. Nineteen-year-old Sean Sidi vanished without a trace on May 21, 2013, leaving behind a trail of questions and a community in distress.

Sean’s day began with a visit to his former high school, the French American International School, where he intended to pick up a tape from a teacher. Captured on surveillance footage, Sean was last seen leaving the school at 11:38 am, heading in an unknown direction. Later that afternoon, he spoke with his father, mentioning his plan to take a bus to Golden Gate Park. Tragically, at 2:00 pm, Sean’s phone went dead, and he has not been seen or heard from since.

In the days following his disappearance, police traced Sean’s phone to the eastern section of Golden Gate Park. Despite extensive searches, no sign of him was found. Complicating the case is Sean’s medical condition; he suffered a traumatic brain injury six months prior and requires medication, making him medically fragile.
