SFPD said officers assigned to its Narcotics Unit officers gathered probable cause to obtain arrest warrants for the suspects and search warrants for a home in Oakland. Both suspects had pending cases in San Francisco Superior Court, said authorities.

San Francisco police arrested Dennison Aguilera-Moncada, 31, of Oakland, on Golden Gate Avenue near Laguna and Gough Streets at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. Police said “a search of Aguilera-Moncada’s person and vehicle yielded suspected narcotics and evidence related to narcotics trafficking.” Their investigation led them to a second suspect, Marlo Cruz-Lopez, 46, who was taken into custody at a home on the 2300 block of International Boulevard in Oakland.
