SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A woman who was behind the wheel when her vehicle struck two pedestrians — including a toddler who later died — in San Francisco earlier this year has been charged. Officers with the San Francisco Police Department responded to the area of 4th and Channel streets on Feb. 27 at around 8:55 p.m. on a report of a vehicle striking two pedestrians.
San Ramon man accused of enticing minors through online chats
Responding officers determined that the driver struck an adult and a 2-year-old child who were crossing the street. The victims were taken to the hospital where the toddler died.
The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office has identified the driver as Merih Fssha Soloman, 47, of Walnut Creek. Solomon has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and is due to be arraigned Tuesday in San Francisco.
