SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A telephone and electrical pole caught fire Wednesday night in the city’s Sunset District, forcing residents to evacuate two buildings due to safety concerns, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. No injuries were reported.

The fire was reported around 7:38 p.m. in the 1300 block of 7th Avenue after multiple 911 calls, SFFD said.
PG&E crews were delayed in responding due to another fire in the same neighborhood, but they later assisted SFFD in extinguishing the flames, officials said in a social media post.
