Partygoers at Catholic Charities’ annual Loaves and Fishes Gala on April 17 made their way down to the first floor after dinner and a live auction at San Francisco’s Julia Morgan Ballroom for a dessert bar, photobooth, caricature artist, late-night passed snacks, and dancing, with DJ Kwame Wright keeping more than 300 guests on the dance floor into the night.
The newly renovated Banking Hall on the first floor of the Merchants Exchange Building had been transformed for an after party.
The formal program honored two groups whose work anchors the evening’s mission. The Yvonne and Angelo Sangiacomo family received the Faith in Action Award, and Bay Area first responders were recognized with the Heart of Our Community Award. A panel discussion moderated by board member Philip B.
