SF Castro hate vandalism-assault probed by police

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Police Department said an investigation is underway after a victim was assaulted in connection to a hate vandalism incident last weekend in the city’s Castro neighborhood. No arrests have been made.

SFPD said the officers responded on Saturday, May 16 at 5:37 p.m. to the 2000 block of Market St. for an assault.

Police said they met with the injured victim who was treated at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injures…
