The former Macy’s department store in Newark is set to be the new home of T&T Supermarket, as the Canadian grocery chain continues its takeover of California.
Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarket, confirmed to SFGATE that the new East Bay grocery store is in the works. Lee said it will be the largest California location to date at more than 72,600 square feet. The newly announced store also comes on the heels of T&T opening its first California store in San Jose’s Westgate Center on Thursday.
