(KRON) — The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who died in a 1986 vehicle crash, hoping to finally notify his surviving family members.
The man was involved in a crash that occurred at about 4 p.m. on Aug. 1, 1986, near Shore Road just west of Lovers Lane in Hollister, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Investigators said he was riding in a Chevrolet Corvair van with two other passengers when the van was struck by a Cadillac Eldorado. He was taken to Hazel Hawkins Hospital before being transferred to Stanford Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead…
