(BCN) — Fremont firefighters and multiple other fire agencies stopped forward progress on a vegetation fire on the eastern edge of the Fremont city limits Saturday afternoon.
The fire was dubbed the Vargas fire and was burning off the 41000 block of Vargas road, which is right on the city limit line between Fremont and unincorporated Alameda County.
