$809K-winning Powerball ticket sold at Sawtelle gas station; jackpot grows to $748 million

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Saturday night’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Monday’s drawing to $748 million. Still, someone in Los Angeles is suddenly much richer!

Three tickets with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, were sold in California — at gas stations in Los Angeles and Pleasanton, in the Bay Area and at a market in Fresno County, and each is worth $809,204, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game.
