Fourteen people were hospitalized during The Chainsmokers’ concert in San Jose, California, on Friday night after emergency crews responded to a wave of medical calls at the outdoor show.
As Rolling Stone reports, San Jose Fire Department was called to Discovery Meadow around 8:22 p.m. on September 4th following calls stating that multiple attendees needed medical attention. As the number of patients grew, officials dispatched an ambulance task force, two advanced life support units, and a battalion chief to the venue. In total, 14 ambulances responded, and 14 people were transported to local hospitals.
