Two held in connection with a mysterious killing inside RV parked alongside a California street

In a recent development, the San Jose Police Department announced the arrest of two suspects linked to a homicide investigation. The suspects have been identified as Marco Espinoza, 27 years old, and Michael Anaya, 30 years old, both residents of San José.

The investigation began on January 11, 2024, around 10:50 PM, when patrol officers responded to a report of a possible deceased individual inside a recreational vehicle in the area of Kruse Drive and Montague Expressway. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene. Initially, the extent of decomposition obscured any signs of foul play, prompting officers to conduct a thorough investigation, police said.

Subsequently, on January 17, 2024, the Chief Medical Examiner of the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office identified physical trauma on the victim, ruling the manner of death as a homicide, police added.

This revelation prompted the SJPD Homicide Unit detectives to intensify their efforts and delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding the case.
