In the late hours last Friday, a severe vehicle accident was reported in unincorporated Livermore, where a truck veered off the roadway, leading to a significant fire that engulfed the vehicle and rapidly spread to the surrounding vegetation. Officials from the Alameda County Fire Department stated that in response to the accident on Patterson Pass Road and Midway Road, their crews, Cal Fire and the Tracy Fire Department, hurried to the scene after getting the call at 11:24 PM. They were met with the daunting sight of a vehicle entirely ablaze and nature succumbing to the flames over a spread of 2-3 acres.
