Congrats to former Gonzaga walk-on, Colby Brooks! Fans will get a chance to see the former Zag play for Steve Lavin’s squad when San Diego comes to Spokane on January 8th. I predicted that a West Coast Conference program would come calling for Brooks when he put his name in the transfer portal back in April. The 6’7 forward will look to earn a scholarship opportunity with the Toreros while trying to crack a part into the rotation. San Diego lost Deuce Turner, Wayne McKinney III, PJ Hayes and Kevin Patton who were all serious contributors from last season.
