SAN JOSE — A San Jose housing development consisting of apartments for school district workers is poised for a final city review that would clear the way for the complex.
The project at 2050 Kammerer Ave. would produce 78 homes, city planning files show. The rentals would be made available to teachers and staff of Alum Rock Union Elementary School District.
Half of the units will be reserved for lower-income households, planning documents show. The remaining 50%, while intended to be offered at below-market rates, will not be deed-restricted.
