A man died after crashing his car into a wall in Mountain View early Monday morning, police said.
The man was the only person in the vehicle when it crashed near the off-ramp of Highway 85 and Central Expressway around 3 a.m. Monday, the Mountain View Police Department said in a statement.
His name has not been released. He was pronounced dead near the crash site, after police and fire department crews tried to save him. All eastbound lanes of Central Expressway from Castro Street to the off-ramp were closed between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Monday morning…
