LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Thursday for the ninth consecutive day, increasing 1.1 cents to $5.705.
The average price has risen 6.3 cents over the past niine days, including nine-tenths of a cent Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.7 cents more than one week ago, four- tenths of a cent higher than one month ago and $1.099 greater than one year ago.
