A teenager in Ventura, California, is facing multiple charges after he allegedly led police on a chase while riding on his e-bike. Authorities said that the pursuit led officers through various streets and even through a local high school.
According to a news release issued by the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, the incident occurred on Wednesday, June 10. At the time, the Ventura Police Department (VPD) was conducting an “organized e-bike enforcement operation” at Ventura Community Park.
Reportedly, the police department had received more than 100 calls in 2026 regarding juvenile e-bike and e-motorbike usage in the area. This, of course, is highly unsafe…
