Yet Another Stranded Sailboat Crushed Before Dawn on Montecito Coast

MONTECITO, Calif. (KEYT) – At the crack of dawn, crews removed a boat from the Montecito coast where it came ashore this week.

The team from Marborg Industries went out at 5:30 Friday morning at the lowest tide to get to Butterfly Beach from an access point at Santa Barbara’s East Beach.

The county’s policy authorizes the removal of vessels that come ashore if the owner does not salvage it in a timely way…
