Carpinteria’s boys and girls cross country runners took on the annual Scary Dairy Invitational at Cal State University Channel Islands in Camarillo on Sept. 5, where the Warriors athletes tested their speed against hundreds of runners from the region.
Carpinteria’s top finisher in the boys varsity race was senior Max Soto, who finished 12th overall out of nearly 140 runners on the 3-mile course.
