The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday afternoon that the Mountain View afterschool program was placed in a “Hold” protocol due to law enforcement activity near Camino Cascada and Cathedral Oaks.
At 2:30 p.m., officials said there was no direct threat to the school and that the measure was precautionary for added safety, with updates to follow.
