AFTER years of coughing up money for rent and nothing to show for it, a couple decided to ditch traditional living in favor of tiny home life.
Lindsay Wood, 56, also known as the Tiny Home Lady, and her husband made the switch after realizing they had spent $100,000 on rent over a 10-year period while living in Marin County, California.
“We decided at that time it would be much better for our life to actually own a home,” Wood told The U.S. Sun. “But because we wanted to stay in Marin, and everything was $700,000 to $1 million in 2017, we really couldn’t see ourselves having ownership there.”
