Pickleball players in Larkspur will soon have a dedicated public court space of their own after the City Council approved a plan to settle a long-simmering turf battle with tennis players.
Under the plan for the four tennis courts at popular Piper Park, two courts will remain tennis-only, one will be dedicated to pickleball, and the fourth will be a flex court — either used for tennis or divided into four pickleball courts, using portable nets.
