There are new details about the death of a mother and her ten-year-old son at an apartment in Santa Rosa. Police say the pair was found dead in a bathroom on Wednesday morning. A roommate made the initial discovery. A significant amount of blood was also found in multiple rooms of the unit at the Spring Lake Apartments. Investigators determined it was the woman’s blood. On Thursday, the boy was identified as a student at Madrone Elementary School in Santa Rosa. No cause of death has been determined for either person. The boy’s father, who did not live at the apartment, is not considered a person of interest.
