(KRON) — The Santa Rosa Police Department is investigating a shooting Tuesday night near a Cinco de Mayo festival that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
SRPD said officers were in the area of Sebastopol Road and Avalon Avenue around 8:27 p.m. when they heard several gunshots coming from Dutton Avenue, just outside the festival area. Shortly after, officers saw a man in his early 20s running toward them with a gunshot wound.
Police stayed with the victim until medics arrived. He was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries but is currently listed in stable condition…
