Founded in 2005 by winemaker Mike Smith and his wife Leah, Myriad Cellars is a boutique Napa Valley winery focusing on high end Cabernet Sauvignon. Smith, a former protégé of Thomas Rivers Brown, established the brand for high-quality, limited-production wines using premium fruit from vineyards like Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Georges III.
Tofanelli Vineyard is located at the top of Napa Valley near the town of Calistoga and dates back to the early 1900’s.
Golden in color. 14.6% ABV. Pretty nose of lemon, apple and grass. Medium body with racy acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Meyer lemon, pear and baking spices on the palate. Medium length on the finish. Perhaps a bit past its prime but on point when later paired with Thai food. Drink this Summer…
