BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – A new Animal Welfare Resource Center opening in Manatee County is expected to directly impact more than 2,000 residents and help 4,000 animals each year by expanding access to affordable—and in some cases no-cost—pet services aimed at reducing surrenders and keeping animals in their homes.
Commissioners say the center will offer a range of support for pet owners facing financial strain or major life changes.
