SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A traffic camera caught the moment a driver sped through a red light in Sarasota on Saturday, narrowly avoiding a crash.
The near crash took place at the intersection of 12th Street and Washington Boulevard in Sarasota, as video shows the moment both drivers avoided what would have been a serious collision by mere inches.
The Sarasota Police Department posted the video on social media, adding, “Yes, light was red the entire time. Yes, registered owner of the blue car received a notice of violation for running the red light.”…
