SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota police say an 8-year-old boy was stopped by the department’s Marine Patrol Unit after he was seen operating a personal watercraft off Lido Key.
The stop occurred during a busy weekend on the water, with rough currents in the area, according to the department.
